Pipeline Client Service Manager/Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead and deliver water and wastewater pipeline projects, balancing technical leadership with client service and business growth. You'll work with cross-functional teams to advance conveyance infrastructure from planning through construction, while mentoring engineers and strengthening client relationships. Responsibilities
  • Lead project delivery as PM and technical lead for water and wastewater pipeline projects from planning to closeout
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams for conveyance infrastructure and rehabilitation projects
  • Oversee pipeline planning, hydraulic analyses, condition assessments, and design in line with codes and standards
  • Manage scope, proposals, budgets, timelines, quality control, and risk mitigation
  • Provide construction phase services, including submittal reviews, RFIs, contractor coordination, and commissioning support
  • Grow business development by maintaining client relationships and supporting proposals, interviews, and industry events
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical growth and collaborative culture
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipeline and conveyance project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater pipeline systems, including design, analysis, rehabilitation, and construction support
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure in other states
  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering (Master preferred)
