Responsibilities- Lead underwriting and pricing strategy for complex construction risks, including loss-sensitive and structured programs
- Manage account stewardship, renewal planning and retention strategies
- Evaluate loss experience, risk controls and insured financials to support loss-sensitive decision-making
- Drive strategic planning and operational excellence across the portfolio
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across casualty and related lines
- Collaborate with a high-performing, results-oriented team in a shared-success culture
Key requirements- 3+ years of construction casualty underwriting experience preferred
- Prior commercial construction carrier underwriting experience required
- Proven success building internal and external partnerships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- High-energy, entrepreneurial mindset with resilience
- Travel: 25%-30% to neighboring states
