Overview As a Manager in Scientific Informatics, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive digital laboratory transformations and scientific intelligence initiatives. You will shape end-to-end lab projects, aligning scopes with business value and client outcomes. You'll manage delivery, mitigate risks, and build trusted client relationships while shaping strategic roadmaps across people, processes, technology, and data/AI. Responsibilities- Shape digital laboratory transformation initiatives across science, data, automation, and AI
- Analyze and redesign lab processes, define requirements and user stories
- Oversee end-to-end delivery including design, scope, estimates, and execution
- Drive outcomes aligned to goals and value realization
- Quantify business value from solutions and report on progress
- Manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder reporting
- Own client outcomes and contractual commitments, quality, and satisfaction
- Act as escalation point for critical delivery or client issues
- Shape client vision and strategic roadmap across people, process, technology, and data/AI
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor to Directors
- Align stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrate business acumen and navigate client environments
- Articulate value propositions and business cases
- Support business development and opportunity pursuit
- Build deep expertise in laboratory operations, trends, and digital tech
- Lead, coach, and develop team members and mentors
- Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and collaboration
- Manage risks to engagements and brand/reputation
Key requirements- 6+ years in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D or QC manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or Life Science or Computer Science or Engineering
- 2+ years of consulting experience (preferred)
- Experience in life sciences R&D, QC, or IT (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations
