Overview In this role you will support daily field operations by coordinating trade contractors and field activities while upholding safety and quality standards. You will work under supervision to develop foundational field leadership, assist with planning, documentation, safety checks, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure safe, organized, and compliant jobsite operations. The position offers developmental training through Gilbane University and a pathway to grow with an experienced team in a dynamic construction setting.

Responsibilities- Coordinate trade contractors and field activities to maintain schedule compliance and orderly execution
- Operate under contract documents, drawings, specs, and approved work plans for assigned scopes
- Support site safety protocols and participate in safety orientations and observations
- Monitor daily field activities and progress to ensure compliance with work plans
- Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation using construction management software
- Support safety and quality control policy enforcement and escalate concerns as needed
- Attend and contribute to project meetings to aid communication and coordination
- Track craft productivity, labor hours, and production quantities; report variances
- Assist with workforce coordination, basic forecasting, field data collection, and basic labor/material/equipment quantification
- Establish credibility with Owners, trade contractors, unions, and field personnel through professional conduct
- Promote sustainability practices, housekeeping standards, and environmental compliance
Key requirements- 1-3 years in a field leadership/supervisor construction role; 3-8 years construction experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- OSHA 10 certification with ability to obtain OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of construction documentation and drawings; all phases of construction
- Knowledge of all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting
