Overview

In this role you will support project leadership on life sciences construction sites in Blue Bell, PA, assisting the Project Manager to drive project delivery, financial outcomes, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate design, procurement, cost reporting, and scheduling while supervising project engineers and superintendents. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, safety, and continuous alignment with project objectives. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to shape field execution and project controls within IPS's end-to-end delivery model.

Responsibilities
  • Support Project Manager with coordination of contractual requirements, drawings, and specifications
  • Procurement of sub-contracts and purchase orders
  • Management of project billing, cash flow, and cost analysis
  • Analyze and update project schedules; maintain progress tracking
  • Prepare meeting minutes, monthly reports, and change management documentation
  • Assist with contract administration, punch-list, and warranty processes
  • Oversee safety program implementation with construction team and subconsultants
  • Assist with scope development and communication to project team
  • Support bid package prep, pre-bids/walkthroughs, bid review and analysis
  • Maintain site cost reporting and reflect field events in cost data
  • Coordinate resources and client interactions to maintain positive relationships
  • Assist with oversight of site safety and compliance
  • Other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management for non-residential projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Experience on life sciences construction project sites (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 5% and work on-site
  • Strong balance of technical and coordination skills
  • Excellent client management and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to monitor costs, scheduling, and safety on site
