Overview In this role, you will lead on-site construction oversight for water and wastewater projects, ensuring work aligns with contract documents and safety standards. You'll support and mentor staff while helping grow STV's W/WW construction management practice statewide. You'll collaborate with owners, engineers, and contractors to resolve field issues, manage schedules, and evaluate progress payments. Responsibilities- Conduct daily on-site observations to verify progress per contract documents and report deficiencies
- Review project schedules with Owner and Engineer and assess constructability and sequencing proposals
- Coordinate activities to minimize conflicts with Owner's schedule and resolve construction issues with stakeholders
- Review plans, specs, and related documents for assigned projects and participate in detail meetings
- Assess payment applications for accuracy and advise Owner on approvals or rejections
- Make field measurements and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate materials testing and monitor non-conformance issues and corrective actions
- Maintain daily diary/field records and ensure accurate updates to drawings (RFIs, field changes, change orders)
- Issue recommendations for contract/plan adjustments to address field conditions and critical issues
- Calculate progress payments and monitor contractor performance
Key requirements- minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater facility construction or construction inspection
- ability to exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria

- ability to supervise other personnel (directly or indirectly)
