Overview As an Onsite Construction Manager/Engineer, you will oversee field operations across diverse project sites nationwide, focusing on IPD/Design-Build for Industrial Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, remediation, and process/mechanical work. You'll lead safety and quality programs, manage schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive risk, change management, and closeout activities. Collaboration with the project team and mentorship of less experienced staff are key. This role offers travel, exposure to large-scale industrial projects, and opportunities to influence project delivery and profitability.

Responsibilities- Conduct quality control inspections and report findings
- Coordinate non-conformance reporting and closeout
- Oversee contractor/subcontractor activities to align with project plans
- Define project scopes and objectives
- Monitor progress and provide detailed stakeholder reports
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Assist with RFIs and provide accurate responses
- Implement change management and communicate changes effectively
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate health and safety requirements to meet company standards
- Oversee punch list activities for project closeout
- Report subcontractor and vendor budget performance and changes
- Adapt to additional assignments as project needs evolve
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members
Key requirements- minimum of 5 years in construction management or related field
- experience with heavy civil, industrial and municipal water, electrical, process mechanical, remediation, etc.
- project scheduling experience (P6, MS Project)
- experience with Procore
- ability to develop project cost estimates
- overseeing installation of electrical systems (SCADA/I&C)
- startup and commissioning of plant processes
- knowledge of wastewater construction practices
- strong verbal/written communication and independent/team work ability
- valid driving license with good driving record
- experience interfacing with owner, regulators, and third-party stakeholders
- ability to support business development and marketing efforts
- knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
