Overview In this role you partner with plant management to align HR activities with manufacturing goals. You'll handle employee relations, policy communication, and training while supporting discipline and development. You'll assist with recruiting, compensation and benefits administration, and HR data management to keep operations compliant and efficient. This position offers impact through shaping people practices in a plant setting and driving workforce development.
Responsibilities- Counsel plant leaders and staff on HR programs, policies, and employee concerns
- Assist with recruiting, screening, interviewing, and promoting employees
- Advise on employee relations, complaints, and terminations; ensure fair discipline
- Deliver orientation and training; assist with development plans
- Oversee compensation, benefits, leave, and absence programs; participate in compensation surveys
- Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS and Payroll systems (Workday and Kronos)
- Handle local HR admin tasks such as invoicing, files, and event support
- Perform other duties as required
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience
- 3+ years in a generalist/functional role with exposure to compensation, performance management, and training
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
