Product Quality Assurance Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will lead the laboratory operations within Victaulic's Global Quality dept, overseeing PER logistics, analysis, and closeout while guiding a team of technicians. You will ensure timely quality reviews, drive process improvements, and report findings to QA, Application Engineering, and Sales. The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement to uphold product quality at a global scale. This onsite role in Easton, PA offers future global travel opportunities and a chance to shape quality processes across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct leadership and supervision for laboratory operations and technical staff, focusing on performance management and staff development
  • Oversee daily lab operations with priority setting to meet business needs
  • Manage PER logistics from initiation to closeout, including analysis and material handling
  • Ensure timely lab review of PERs, identify bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement process improvements
  • Communicate critical findings to Quality Assurance, Application Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Develop and manage KPIs for laboratory operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of lab activities and results
  • Implement corrective action programs based on quality data and testing outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies in the lab
  • Mentor and coach laboratory staff to foster accountability and growth
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive quality assurance experience with laboratory operations or customer incident management systems
  • Experience managing teams and operational processes in a structured environment
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical analysis tools
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and testing equipment
  • Understanding of corrective action programs and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements
