Overview In this role, you will guide clients through complex commercial real estate deals from structuring to close and post-closing follow-up. You'll work in a collegial, team-oriented legal group in Houston, delivering practical counsel across leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and related transactions. You will collaborate with owners and occupants, outside stakeholders, and fellow attorneys to translate business objectives into actionable legal solutions. Responsibilities- Handle a broad range of commercial real estate matters from structuring through closing and post-closing follow-up
- Prepare, examine, and negotiate lease documents and ancillary leasing instruments
- Counsel property owners and occupants on lease strategy and risk
- Support purchase and sale transactions by drafting key documents and coordinating progress
- Create and negotiate transaction-related agreements (development contracts, easements, etc.)
- Review title materials, surveys, and diligence records to identify and address issues
- Partner with clients to translate business objectives into legal solutions
- Collaborate with fellow attorneys and outside stakeholders on sophisticated matters
- Provide clear, practical advice throughout the transaction lifecycle
