Overview As a Project Engineer, you will support data center site development and heavy civil construction, coordinating planning, documentation, and execution. You'll partner with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-schedule, and high-quality outcomes for hyperscale infrastructure. This role offers exposure to complex, mission-critical projects and fast-paced collaboration across functions. Responsibilities- Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination across the project lifecycle
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and civil plans to support execution
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change documentation, and project records for contract compliance
- Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction to resolve constructability challenges
- Maintain project documentation and reporting in Procore or other CM platforms
- Support successful delivery of hyperscale data center and mission-critical projects
- Develop project plans, schedules, and documentation packages
- Coordinate construction activities with field personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Participate in quality control, progress tracking, and project reporting
- Identify project risks and develop practical solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives
Key requirements- 3+ years of construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large campus infrastructure projects preferred
- Knowledge of site development, heavy civil construction, grading, utilities, and earthwork activities preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, civil plans, and specs
- Familiarity with CAD and Procore or similar CM platforms
- Ability to perform quantity takeoffs and support cost-control efforts
- Engineering, field engineering, or project engineering experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills for planning, document control, submittals, RFIs
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and onsite availability Monday-Friday at Hubbard Project Site
