Glazing Estimator

In this role you will develop reasonably profitable cost estimates for new and existing products, designs and repairs, aligning with company guidelines. You will prepare and present quotes to customers, using blueprints, specifications and related documents to drive accurate cost projections. You'll analyze labor, materials, and time requirements, including raw materials, equipment and transportation costs, to produce itemized cost sheets. You will monitor change orders, report price effects, and audit costing results to continually improve the estimation process, while maintaining quotation records.

• Prepare estimates for new/existing products, designs and repairs based on proposals and specifications
• Analyze labor, material, time, and related costs to determine production costs
• Review estimate elements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards
• Communicate requirements and specifications to customers and vendors
• Monitor change orders and communicate price effects to customers
• Compute cost factors and prepare itemized cost worksheets
• Ensure installation aligns with customer schedule
• Audit costing results to improve estimation processes
• Maintain quotation and proposal records
• Perform other duties as assigned
