Responsibilities- Design and execute protein-based assays for characterization and quality control of gene therapy products
- Develop and optimize assay protocols, troubleshoot issues, ensure robustness
- Use analytical techniques (AUC, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, ELISA) to analyze products
- Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align assay results with project goals
- Participate in assay transfer and support validation efforts
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation
- Stay updated with literature and industry advancements in protein-based assays
- Contribute to process improvement and method development
- Train and mentor junior team members in assay techniques
- Maintain high laboratory safety and compliance
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology
- Experience developing, validating, and troubleshooting assays in biologics or gene therapy
- Strong communication for technical reporting and collaboration
