Overview In this role you will independently manage government and commercial contracts from intake to closeout, guiding complex agreements and related SaaS/DaaS, vendor, and manufacturing contracting matters. You will collaborate with Legal, Security, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliant, risk-aware contracting in a fast-moving environment. The role supports both defense and commercial programs, contributing to a mission of safer skies through advanced sensing technology. You will work in a hybrid setup with in-office and remote days. Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end management of government contracts and subcontracts from intake to closeout, including modifications and funding actions
- Negotiate flow-downs and language for subcontracts, teaming, and vendor agreements
- Interpret FAR/DFARS clauses, data rights, cybersecurity, CUI, and flow-down requirements
- Lead RFP reviews, build compliance matrices, and support OCI mitigation planning
- Negotiate NDA/MSAs/SOWs/SaaS terms and related commercial documents
- Coordinate cross-functional approvals (finance, pricing, security, legal, etc.) and prepare deviation memos
- Create and coordinate purchase requisitions tied to contract actions and program needs
- Assist with invoice questions and contract-term interpretations; support lease-related reviews
- Maintain audit-ready records and manage contract risk with escalation where needed
- Perform other contracts administrative support as assigned by Senior Contracts Manager
Key requirements- 5-10 years of contracts-related experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience negotiating and administering FAR/DFARS-based contracts and commercial MSA/SOW/SaaS agreements
- Knowledge of SBIRs, DFARS data rights, CUI handling, CMMC/NIST 800-171 concepts, liability, indemnification, data protection, and SLAs
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and written communication skills
- Secret clearance (active or obtainable within 6 months) and U.S. Person status for ITAR work
