Overview In this role you ensure services meet contract specs, stay on budget and on schedule, while upholding safety and quality. You work with the operations team to deliver projects and act as the customer-facing advisor on installations. You'll manage costs, billing, and change orders, and help convert projects to long-term maintenance contracts. Responsibilities- Coordinate with the operations team to deliver services per contract specifications, on budget, on schedule, with high quality and safety compliance
- Manage cost reports, analyze budget variances, and propose cost-reduction strategies; review labor quantities and project phases for tracking
- Prepare and ensure timely monthly job billings
- Assist in change orders and coordinate receivables and collections with admin management
- Serve as main point of contact and trusted advisor to customers on project installation issues
- Gather and analyze customer needs, build relationships, and provide solutions
- Provide clear information about products and services to customers
- Ensure all jobs are completed per plans, within budget, and on deadlines
- Deliver timely reports, financials, schedules, and budgets
- Inspect fieldwork and resolve issues
- Collaborate to convert construction projects to maintenance contracts
- Maintain accurate monthly cost-to-complete reports and backlog forecasting
- Oversee overall financials of projects and ensure delivery per contract and drawings
- Interface with owners, clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors
- Model ethical behavior and promote safety, quality, and customer service within the company
Key requirements- BA in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/landscaping with extensive field experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), scheduling, project management, and digitizing software
- Strong work ethic and effective oral and written communication
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience and ability to identify and address customers' pain points
- Driven, disciplined, and relationship-building
- Ability to work at a fast pace with a high sense of urgency
- Coachable with a good sense of humor
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
