Overview In this role you will lead project execution for assigned site and office builds, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to deliver projects on time and within budget, while upholding Webcor standards. You will manage buyout, procurement, and risk, and oversee billing, documentation, and close-out processes. You will mentor junior staff and drive a collaborative, safety-first project environment that aligns with the company's goals.
Responsibilities- Manage site and office safety and enforce Webcor safety policies
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to meet schedule and budget
- Plan and track buyout, procurement, and milestones within the project schedule
- Analyze risks, communicate with client and trade partners, and resolve issues
- Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and cost control budgets
- Oversee document control for RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, drawings, specs, and reports
- Lead sequencing, procurement, change management, and scope delineation with the Superintendent team
- Mentor junior staff and provide timely feedback
- Manage owner, subcontractor, and vendor billing processes
- Oversee project start-up and close-out activities and cost reporting
- Forecast risks and communicate to senior management
- Control project budget and negotiate pricing
- Oversee delay log with the Superintendent/Construction Manager and notify stakeholders
- Engage in client management activities as required
Key requirements- Advanced knowledge of Prime Contract types (lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design-build)
- Strong cost control, budgeting, billing, and forecasting abilities
- Extensive understanding of building components (site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPS)
- Hands-on experience with cost/estimating databases or software (CMIC a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
- Strategic ability to author RFIs and submittals
- OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 8 years of complex construction project experience
- Experience with OSHPD/HCAI-regulated healthcare construction in California; hospital setting preferred
- LEED AP and/or GA preferred
- Experience with sustainable or design-build projects preferred
