Overview In this role you drive community-first initiatives to strengthen AWS's presence and reputation in Ohio. You will act as the subject matter expert on external issues management for Data Center Infrastructure and partner with diverse stakeholders to deliver meaningful community impact. You'll shape regional engagement strategy, design signature programs, and oversee communications that keep employees and communities informed and involved. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on, on-the-ground collaboration to scale long-term community programs. Responsibilities- Lead strategy and execution of community engagement plans for major regional development projects
- Design and run signature events and programs
- Set and manage vision for sustainable regional engagement initiatives with high quality
- Oversee internal and external communications for community programs
- Act as point of contact for community issues and reputational risk management
- Lead community assessments for new regional sites and develop mitigation plans
- Scale InCommunities programming as AWS grows
- Capture, report and communicate quantified and qualitative impact of community engagement
Key requirements- 5+ years in business development, partnership management, or new business sourcing
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years in sales, inside sales, or business development experience
