Responsibilities- Develop controllers using reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and other AI techniques for robust motor behaviors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure motor control aligns with actuator dynamics and energy efficiency
- Use simulation and real-world testing to refine and validate control algorithms
- Stay current with robotics, AI, and control systems advances to apply them to motion challenges
- Lead technical projects from conception through production deployment
- Mentor junior scientists and engineers
- Bridge research initiatives with practical engineering implementation
Key requirements- 3+ years building models for business applications
- Master in CS, CE, ML or related field (or PhD)
- Experience with patents or publications at top-tier conferences/journals
- Proficiency in Java, C++, Python or related languages
- Experience in algorithms and data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing
