Overview As Senior Architect at Acadian, you will bridge business needs and technology to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions for the Global Client Group. You'll partner with business users to translate objectives into actionable requirements, drive process improvements, and ensure data quality and governance. You'll influence roadmap and collaborate across IT delivery teams, contributing to client reporting, marketing tech, and BI initiatives. This role offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment with a focus on impact, risk reduction, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities- Define and deliver effective solutions as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Technology
- Translate requirements into user stories and functional specs; align with business objectives
- Analyze processes, systems, and data to improve efficiency, controls, and user experience
- Document workflows, requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and data governance
- Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production validation
- Develop test scenarios and coordinate user acceptance testing
- Coordinate resolution of production issues
- Produce documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials
- Partner with other IT delivery teams on cross-functional initiatives
- Contribute to product roadmaps and long-term technology planning
- Lead meetings to drive collaboration between business and technical teams
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience as Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst/Business Architect in investment management or software
- Strong knowledge of investment management concepts (clients, accounts, securities, cash flows, performance measurement) and client reporting
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or other data analysis tools; familiar with relational DBs, APIs, JSON/XML, web services
- Experience gathering and validating requirements in Agile environments
- Excellent communication with both business and technical stakeholders; ability to set priorities and manage expectations
- Experience with data modeling and business intelligence tools (Tableau preferred)
- Experience with CRM and client reporting platforms (Salesforce, Seismic, SimCorp Coric preferred)
- Experience supporting enterprise master data platforms (accounts, securities, positions) preferred
- Exposure to AWS, AI technologies, and modern software development practices preferred
