Overview In this role you will serve as the dedicated compensation resource for the Customer organization, partnering with senior leaders and HRBPs to shape and administer compensation programs. You will lead end-to-end compensation cycles, benchmark against markets, and guide offers, equity decisions, promotions, and retention actions. You will build and govern incentive plans, analyze pay structures across geographies, and drive data-informed decisions in collaboration with Recruiting, Finance, Sales Ops, and Legal. Responsibilities- Act as the primary compensation partner for the Customer organization (Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Services, Strategic Partners)
- Provide data-informed guidance on offers, leveling, promotions, retention, and out-of-cycle requests
- Understand and assess incentive plans, partnering with design teams to inform decisions
- Own compensation-cycle execution end-to-end: benchmarking, budgeting, manager enablement, leadership rollups
- Lead competitive intelligence on Customer roles and market trends in tech/AI
- Augment survey data with recruiting signals and real-time market sources
- Collaborate with Recruiting and People Partners on market insights for hires at all levels
- Analyze programs using data, outcomes, and stakeholder feedback; propose improvements for growth and pay-for-performance
- Lead strategic projects like incentive-plan governance, job architecture, and tool implementations
- Develop manager enablement materials and training on compensation philosophy and decision-making
Key requirements- 7+ years of compensation experience, including significant experience as a compensation business partner
- Proven track record supporting Customer orgs with end-to-end ownership of cyclical compensation programs
- Experience implementing, administering, and communicating Sales incentive plans
- Experience collaborating with Finance and Sales Operations on incentive-plan modeling, budgeting, forecasting, attainment analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of third-party survey methodologies (Radford, WTW) and building pay structures across geographies/functions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive-presenting skills
