Overview As a Senior Architect at Dewberry in Peoria, you will lead architectural projects across Industrial, Commercial Office, and Institutional sectors, guiding design and construction from concept to completion. You'll manage client relationships, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure design intent while expanding regional client partnerships. This role offers growth through expanding existing accounts and delivering high-quality, complex projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape built environments and drive project success.
Responsibilities- Lead development of design concepts and construction documents from schematic through construction phases
- Manage client relationships at the project level and align with annual facility improvement plans
- Assess and communicate resourcing needs to support client programs
- Mentor and supervise assigned project personnel and coordinate with designers and project managers
- Perform code analysis and provide conceptual input on assigned projects
- Assist with specifications development through material and product research
- Monitor scope, schedule, and budget for architectural aspects
- Provide collateral duties related to team operations
Key requirements- Professional registration as an Architect is required
- Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience
- Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master)
