Overview In this role you will be a senior technical leader ensuring operational readiness for CoreWeave's data center projects. You will conduct deep reviews of design, construction, commissioning, and handoff to ensure alignment with standards and to mitigate risks. You will collaborate across Design, Construction, Operations, and external partners to drive timely delivery and quality. Responsibilities- Perform deep operational and technical reviews of active projects to identify gaps in design validation, process execution, construction coordination, turnover readiness, and quality assurance
- Assess whether critical infrastructure systems, construction activities, commissioning efforts, and operational handoff procedures meet project requirements and best practices
- Identify deficiencies and missing controls that could impact schedule, reliability, or readiness
- Develop and drive corrective action and recovery plans for distressed or high-risk infrastructure projects
- Partner with Design, Construction, Operations, Network Engineering, Commissioning, and external contractors to improve coordination and ensure standards are met
- Review project documentation (drawings, MEP designs, RFIs, submittals, schedules, turnover packages, change orders) for readiness and quality
- Monitor dependencies, sequencing, and critical path risks in large-scale data center programs
- Support successful turnover by validating readiness and driving issue resolution before handoff
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in data center design, construction, commissioning, or operational readiness in mission-critical environments
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems (power distribution, cooling, controls, generators, UPS, plant operations)
- Proven experience managing distressed or high-risk infrastructure projects with corrective actions
- Ability to rapidly assess sites, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
- Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, turnover, and fit-out coordination for large-scale data centers
- Experience coordinating across design teams, GC contractors, commissioning agents, vendors, and operations
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet)
