Overview In this role you will join a Data Sciences team in Los Angeles to plan and execute global data collection and analysis for ML applications in consumer electronics. You will support prototypes, manage data programs, and lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver actionable insights. The position emphasizes solving complex data-driven problems and shaping products for clients across industries. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with opportunities to travel and contribute to cutting-edge data science and human-centered research.

Responsibilities- Plan and execute global data collection efforts and build custom datasets for ML algorithms
- Provide operational support for prototype hardware/software including validation and troubleshooting
- Lead ad hoc interdisciplinary teams across Data Sciences, Human Factors, Health Sciences, and Engineering Sciences
- Develop data analysis and visualization tools for project management, demographics, and human-centered data
- Maintain client relationships and support programs for clients in the consumer electronics domain
Key requirements- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physiology, Human Factors, or related fields
- Ability to transform ambiguous questions into data-driven insights and communicate results to diverse audiences
- Experience in one or more: advanced sensing technology, data analysis/visualization, human subjects research, programming (Python, Shell, Java, Perl, MATLAB)
- Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition/processing, operations optimization, ML dataset design
- Experience with large-scale human-subject data collection for ML/AI development
- Leadership and project management skills; ability to work independently and in teams
- Willingness to travel globally up to 40%
