Overview In this role you will lead VDC delivery across complex projects and pursuits, aligning with project teams, designers, and clients to improve quality, schedule, and cost while advancing VDC practices. You will mentor teams, manage VDC budgets, and drive the adoption of technology-enabled construction across the Central Florida market. The position combines technical leadership with client-facing management to shape how digital tools enhance project outcomes.
Responsibilities- Create and deliver training programs (e-learning, instructor-led, webinars) and host company webinars for VDC learning
- Mentor VDC engineers and project teams; review and improve BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and produce BIMxP as needed
- Lead delivery of VDC services on projects/pursuits; manage budget and schedule for VDC tasks; guide cost and schedule optimization
- Ensure compliance with standard practices (Autodesk Forma 5D, model-based take-off, 2D/3D constructability reviews, planning, 4D scheduling, 3D coordination, VR/AR, Digital Twin)
- Lead project kick-offs; manage stakeholder communications with owners, architects, engineers, and clients; support change management and RFIs
- Support business development by assisting RFP responses and identifying fee opportunities; participate in presales efforts and pricing for VDC services
- Monitor and utilize VDC data dashboards (PowerBI) to track performance and trends
Key requirements- 8+ Years of commercial construction experience with VDC responsibilities
- Ability to travel within greater Nashville area to project sites
