Overview In this role you will lead on-site MEP installation efforts on complex NYC projects, owning field operations from mobilization to close-out. You'll supervise in-house crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule while maintaining thorough project reporting. The position offers long-term growth and performance-based bonuses on high-value mechanical installs. You will work closely with PMs, architects, and clients to deliver critical boiler, heating, and plumbing upgrades that drive building performance in a dynamic market.

- base salary $125,000 to $160,000
Responsibilities- Serve as primary on-site authority for active MEP projects, directing foremen, crews, and subcontractors
- Own daily job site reporting including safety and construction reports
- Update tasks, man-days, and schedule status; flag deviations to PM
- Prepare 2-week look-aheads and lead weekly Site Super / PM meetings
- Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries on the critical path
- Ensure site quality control through close-out and punch list completion
- Enforce safety programs, PPE, hazard analyses; manage OSHA logs and incident reporting
- Manage prevailing wage sign-in and related compliance documentation
- Communicate RFIs, submittals, and drawing conflicts; document change orders
- Attend site meetings with architects, engineers, customers, and city agencies as required
Key requirements- 5+ years leading commercial MEP construction projects
- Strong background in commercial boilers, hydronic/steam heating, plumbing, or mechanical construction
- Experience supervising field crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read/interpret construction drawings, specs, and MEP plans
- OSHA 30 certification and NYC SST card (40-hour) required
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between NYC-area job sites
- Comfortable with daily field reporting and documentation; proficient with project management and communication software
