Overview In this role you lead the administration and execution of assigned projects to deliver safe, profitable, and timely results. You collaborate with owners, design professionals, and contractors to support bid, design, value engineering, and schedule analysis while managing costs, procurement, and project documentation. Responsibilities- Coordinate the bid/proposal process
- Establish work breakdown structure and perform quantity surveys
- Interface with owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors for bid, design, value engineering, constructability review, and schedule analysis
- Manage construction documentation (RFI, ASI, etc.)
- Control project costs to meet/exceed target margins
- Oversee project procurement
- Negotiate, write, and award contractor and purchase agreements
- Support the company's strategic planning efforts
- Price material, labor, equipment, general conditions, and direct job expenses for the estimate
- Prepare and manage all billings
- Review contractual requirements to determine scope of work
Key requirements- BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
- 5-7 yrs in construction contract documentation; 3-5 yrs in PM/Estimating (Step I)
- 7-10 yrs in construction contract documentation; 5-7 yrs in PM/Estimating (Step II)
- 10+ yrs in contract docs with 7+ yrs in PM/Estimating (Step Sr)
