Overview In this role you will install and validate Helios quantum systems at customer sites worldwide, starting from the on-premises unit. You'll work with a global team to ensure smooth deployment, support integration and validation, and contribute to future on-premises hardware offerings. The position combines hands-on installation, travel, and cross-functional collaboration to advance our hardware-enabled quantum computing roadmap. A strong focus on qubit performance and reliable service will drive customer success and system maturity.

Responsibilities- Install Helios systems on customer premises including shipment prep, relocation, installation, and validation
- Refine deployment plans and standard work instructions
- Serve as the atomic physics/qubit operations expert for deployment tasks
- Provide remote and on-site support with global SME team
- Assist in integration and validation at Quantinuum prior to deployment
- Contribute to future on-premises hardware offerings post-Helios
- Maintain focus on business success, technical progress, and professional team interactions
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 3 months per deployment, 25% otherwise
Key requirements- Ph.D. completed
- Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience as technical contributor or leader in atomic physics or quantum computing
- Eligibility to complete international travel
- U.S. Person status due to contractual requirements
- Not a PRC or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen
