Overview In this role you will guide international commercial and government contracting for Anduril's defense tech across APAC and the Americas. You will support business development, procurement, and program execution, negotiating complex terms and ensuring compliance with export controls and defense trade rules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals, manage risk, and drive global deals from proposal to execution. Responsibilities- Negotiate and redline international terms and conditions across master, license, hardware, and services agreements
- Support international government and commercial deals from proposal through lifecycle management
- Structure and negotiate terms including governing law, arbitration, payment security, and Incoterms
- Advise on ITAR, EAR, sanctions, and defense trade compliance in deal structures
- Manage relationships with foreign ministries of defense, allied procurement agencies, and US contracting officers
- Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Program teams to capture new contracts and support follow-on opportunities
- Develop reusable contracting playbooks and risk mitigations to scale across divisions
- Oversee acquisitions lifecycle and assist in major negotiations, performance issue resolution, and compliance matters
Key requirements- 3+ years in international commercial contracting and/or international government/defense contracts or defense trade
- Experience structuring cross-border agreements and familiarity with DCS, FMS, or hybrid structures
- Strong negotiation, judgment, and initiative to own multiple complex projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensed to practice law in CA or eligible to register as in-house counsel under CA Rules of Court
- Willingness to travel internationally (APAC and Americas) and support outside standard hours
