Overview

In this Medical Science Liaison role, you will support the Client's Global Medical Affairs team by building relationships with the respiratory virus disease community and driving scientific exchange. You will collaborate with field teams to raise awareness of research and global studies through thought leaders and investigators. You act as a liaison between Medical Affairs, investigators, and CRO staff, ensuring compliant communication and education. You will spend significant time in the field, presenting study information, addressing enrollment challenges, and sharing clinical insights that advance trial participation and education.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage clinical investigators, site staff, and referring physicians to foster relationships and support enrollment.
  • Engage KOLs/TLs and Centers of Excellence in RSV.
  • Dedicate four field days per week plus one administrative day.
  • Present study information to investigators and site staff to generate trial interest and protocol understanding.
  • Discuss enrollment and retention challenges with sites and propose solutions.
  • Educate trial sites and groups about disease state or study design as needed.
  • Build relationships with Medical Affairs, R&D, site staff, field monitors, and CRAs.
  • Communicate adverse events or product concerns per policy.
  • Demonstrate deep clinical data knowledge to communicate scientifically with stakeholders.
  • Attend local, regional, and national conferences, gaining medical insights and maintaining investigator relationships.
  • Route investigator inquiries to appropriate internal contacts for follow-up.
  • As needed, perform additional duties such as TL mapping beyond Tier 1, CoER engagement, outcomes sharing, literature surveillance, journal clubs, and Investigator Sponsored Research discussions.
Key requirements
  • Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
  • 3-6 years of prior MSL experience, preferably with a clinical trial focus
  • Strong ability to communicate scientific and medical information to diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication; adaptable to change; strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of effective and influential presentations to varied healthcare audiences
  • Entrepreneurial, independent, yet collaborative; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
