Overview

You lead delivery for large, complex construction projects and manage client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. As a senior project lead, you collaborate with executives preconstruction, guide staffing, and steer the project from kickoff to closeout. You will drive financial performance, value, and risk management while coordinating across internal teams and subcontractors. This role is ideal for a hands-on, client-focused leader who shapes delivery strategy in a fast-paced, employee-owned company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a project construction team and staffing
  • Act as primary client contact during construction
  • Develop delivery strategies and schedules with project team
  • Manage budgets, cost/revenue projections, and change orders
  • Ensure cashflow positivity through schedule of values and invoicing
  • Organize and lead client and internal meetings
  • Mitigate project risks to avoid write-downs
  • Oversee contract documentation from kickoff to closeout
  • Coordinate communications with subcontractors and clients
  • Work at project site
Key requirements
  • Four-year degree in related field or applicable experience
  • 10+ years' experience in construction with team management
  • Proven ability to manage large/complex projects and teams
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems (HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, water)
  • Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and subcontractors
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Public speaking ability and clear information relay
  • Knowledge of building construction processes, codes, and permitting
  • Strong computer skills including ERP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project)
