Overview As a Senior Associate, you lead envelope investigations and rehabilitation projects for modern and historic structures in Houston. You will mentor staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage clients from day one. Your deep expertise in curtain walls, window walls, and exterior cladding powers diagnostics, detailing, and project leadership. This role blends ownership with hands-on field work and strategic relationship building within a supportive, lab-enabled firm.

Responsibilities- Technical project leadership across building envelope systems; applying codes, guidelines, and best practices
- Project management including scoping, proposals, schedules, and budgets
- Mentorship and knowledge sharing across local and company teams
- Client relationship development and coordination with contractors and consultants
- Overseeing field work, diagnostics, and testing; training others in hands-on activities
- Contributing to practice leadership, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and industry involvement
Key requirements- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in building enclosures with diagnostic and detailing expertise
- Strong experience with curtain walls, facade systems, and exterior wall assemblies
- Applied hygrothermal knowledge across envelope materials and interfaces
- Excellent written, graphical, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel and perform inspections; physically capable of field work and hazardous environments
- Master's degree preferred (in related fields)
