Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate the Human Resources function for the MST division, shaping people practices and ensuring policy compliance. You will partner with management to design training, gap analysis, and development programs that align with Magna's charter and values. Working cross-functionally, you'll drive employee relations, wage and benefits communication, and recruitment to support growth and audits. This is a hands-on HR leadership role in a global automotive environment with a focus on continuous improvement and people-centric culture.
Responsibilities- Coordinate all training activities and measure effectiveness
- Define required skills with department managers and perform gap analysis
- Lead HR department and maintain employee relations aligned with Magna Charter and Core Values
- Prepare area for system and process audits and maintain HR policies manual
- Oversee wage and benefits processes, annual salary surveys, and Benefits Administrator oversight
- Manage employee relations, open-door policy, and conflict resolution support
- Support health and safety discussions with EHS lead and review workers' comp and plant safety records
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with state/federal laws
- Administer employment function including recruiting, interviewing, background checks, and pre-employment processes
- Coordinate EOS scores and performance reviews; manage talent management and succession
- Ensure effective communication of HR services and personnel policies across the division
