Overview In this role you design, model and develop complex data models and ETL pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS to support data integration and migration. You collaborate with team members and project leaders to translate requirements into robust database programming and data flows, ensuring data integrity across multiple databases. You will optimize performance, troubleshoot data issues, and contribute to architectural discussions. This position offers exposure to data engineering tasks within business systems analytics and a chance to impact data reliability and scalability.
Responsibilities- Design, model and develop complex data models and data integrations using SSIS-based ETL
- Plan and implement data integration and migration activities
- Coordinate with teammates on database programming per project needs
- Develop stored procedures, complex SQL queries, and database programming
- Perform QA tests to ensure data integrity across databases
- Interact with project leaders to understand requirements and provide inputs in architecture discussions
- Assist in identifying improvements for database performance, reliability and stability
- Troubleshoot and analyze root causes of data issues in a timely manner
- Support end user processes and basic reporting during early stages of projects
- Update tables and verify data accuracy as part of application implementations
Key requirements- 4-5 years of SQL experience (queries, stored procedures, triggers, views)
- 3+ years of SSIS experience (2012, 2016)
- 2-3 years Azure experience
- Experience ETL with Excel, flat files and MS SQL Server using SSIS
- Understanding of data modelling, job scheduling and ETL dependencies
