Overview In this role you support environmental remediation and compliance efforts for DoD/Military sector projects, primarily for the USACE Florida-Caribbean region. You will contribute to investigations, water/wastewater work, industrial hygiene, and environmental management activities within a multidisciplinary engagement team. The position emphasizes field- and lab-based tasks, reporting, and ensuring safety and regulatory adherence. You will work with cross-functional teams to sustain, restore, and modernize environmental programs, impacting mission readiness and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities- Perform environmental remediation activities and investigations related to remediation
- Contribute to water/wastewater services, industrial hygiene/safety support, and pollution prevention
- Provide base sustainment, restoration, and modernization support including materials, tools, and labor estimation
- Assist in environmental compliance evaluation, remediation, and permitting across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases
- Support environmental evaluation, compliance, remediation, and management for SRM initiatives
- Office automation, document management, and data entry for procurement actions and contract tracking
- Prepare scope of work, estimates, technical reviews, and statistical reports
- Support customer-facing communications and deliverables such as reports and SOWs
Key requirements- BS or MS in chemistry or chemistry-related field
- minimum five years of environmental laboratory experience
- at least two years of applied data usability assessment and laboratory methods review
- knowledge of OSHA regulations
- HAZWOPER certifications appropriate to site work
- U.S. Citizenship
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe
- ability to obtain security clearances (Facility Access, potential Top Secret/DOE Q)
