Overview

In this role you will lead cross-functional project efforts to deliver engineering, procurement, and construction activities for power and utility projects. You will work within a people-focused team to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk, collaborating with owners, vendors, and contractors. You'll influence siting tasks, change management, and contract oversight while communicating progress to executives. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to support project scope (engineering, outage planning, permitting, scheduling, procurement, field operations)
  • Drive project schedule, manage scope, and control costs
  • Assist with siting requirements and related documents
  • Administer and review RFIs, submittals, invoices, and change orders
  • Lead recurring cross-functional team meetings and track actions
  • Coordinate change management with Owner and contractors/suppliers
  • Administer contracts for construction phase and owner-supplied work
  • Coordinate between material vendors and construction contractors
  • Develop and review technical bid documents; lead pre-bid meetings
  • Prepare and present project cost sheets and stakeholder presentations
  • Report on progress, costs, schedule, procurement, safety, and risks
  • Support E-Builder usage and ERP systems as required
  • Provide inputs for project baselines and contract negotiations
Key requirements
  • 10-15 years experience in engineering/procurement/construction activities
  • 3+ years managing major projects in engineering/procurement/construction
  • Strong safety-first focus
  • Knowledge of project management processes and tools
  • Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
