You conduct thorough investigations to resolve concerns and mitigate risk, while maintaining meticulous documentation. You serve as a proactive resource, monitor division trends, and collaborate with HR and operations to implement improvements. Responsibilities- Provide employee relations support to leaders and team members
- Ensure practices comply with laws and Sentara policies
- Conduct thorough investigations to resolve concerns and reduce legal risk
- Identify and address issues related to third-party representation
- Maintain timely, complete documentation of ER matters
- Be a visible resource in the division to proactively resolve concerns
- Monitor division trends and recommend actions to HR and leadership
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred; HR certification preferred
- 4 years employee/labor relations experience without a degree; 2 years with a degree
