Physical Security Associate Manager

Overview

In this role you lead physical security across Firm offices, developing and enforcing procedures to protect personnel, facilities, and assets. You analyze threats, coordinate access-control initiatives, and supervise investigations and vendor oversight. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen the Firm's security posture. This position offers influence over security programs and incident response in a complex, multi-location environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain physical security procedures, protocols, and standards
  • Assess risks and recommend preventive and protective measures
  • Research and interpret intelligence on terrorism, crime, and geopolitical threats
  • Oversee access control systems design, implementation, and vendor management
  • Conduct investigations into security-related incidents and sensitive misconduct
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, building management, and law enforcement on incidents
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies; maintain confidentiality
  • Supervise the Physical Security Analyst in New York and provide coaching
  • Develop relationships with internal and external security partners
  • Maintain knowledge of security practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 10 years of progressive physical security experience
  • Experience developing and evaluating security procedures and standards
  • Experience in threat and risk assessments and interpreting security threats
  • Experience conducting sensitive investigations and reporting findings
  • Working knowledge of access control systems and related technologies
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and external stakeholders
  • Discretion and handling of confidential information
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with security software and data tracking tools
  • Ability to travel to Firm offices as needed
