Electrical Construction Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical construction efforts on Petrochemical/plant projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery. You will work closely with client representatives, engineering and contractor teams to manage scope, cost, and progress while upholding industry-leading service. You'll shape on-site execution, safety culture, and project controls to drive successful outcomes for complex facilities. This opportunity combines technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration in a global professional services environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities within the Electrical scope to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Apply electrical project management principles and techniques
  • Collaborate with site safety leadership to foster a proactive safety culture
  • Maintain open dialogue with stakeholders on safety, performance, and lessons learned
  • Establish client relationships focused on service excellence and future opportunities
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications
  • Review change orders, proposals, and contract documents for completeness and best terms
  • Prepare meetings, minutes, progress reports, and project documentation in management software
  • Support timely completion through coordination with client, engineering, and contractor
  • Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Ensure client services are delivered at the highest level to address client needs
  • Possibly adhere to Sox controls where applicable
Key requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of construction experience in related industry
  • Bachelor's degree or related electrical experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of contract documents, specifications, and project plans
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task with prioritization
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam/Adobe, OneNote, and construction project management software
  • Basic knowledge of construction estimation and construction financial documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with internal/external resources
