Senior Construction Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee end-to-end delivery of a large-scale commercial project, from inception to commissioning. You will coordinate with the client, general contractor, and design partners to manage constructability, risk, and schedule. You'll lead the site team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and guide commissioning and handover activities. This role offers the chance to shape delivery on a flagship project within a global professional services firm that values collaboration and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with general contractor, architect/engineer, and client for all construction activities
  • Perform constructability reviews and identify cost and schedule risks
  • Lead the Turner & Townsend site project team under client direction
  • Liaise with vendors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and GC to align on milestones
  • Apply knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations on site
  • Support design phase: value engineering, long-lead item procurement, RFP preparation, and success criteria
  • Review design and construction drawings for constructability and requirements
  • Develop baseline schedule and provide progress updates; manage risk and criticality assessments
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with commissioning agent and ensure smooth handover
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and site documents; participate in status meetings and reporting
  • Oversee on-site activities, site visits, and punch lists; support inspections and testing
  • Ensure project documentation is loaded into client system; maintain dashboards with cost and schedule data
Key requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years' project management experience
  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent; OSHA certified
  • Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multiple stakeholders including GC and design teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
