Overview In this role you will steer healthcare construction programs from planning through closeout, ensuring alignment with owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule. You will act as the primary liaison among owners, partners, and project teams, guiding contract and design processes and safeguarding project controls. You'll lead meetings, manage information flows, and oversee a multidisciplinary staff. Responsibilities- Serve as the primary owner liaison for contracts, design, systems, and deliverables
- Develop project-specific procedures and documentation and advise on design/construction contracts and A/E systems
- Apply knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Acquire and manage data, communications, and approvals across project parties
- Represent owner and project in public forums and meetings
- Oversee project controls, cost, performance, logistics, and closeout activities
- Lead project meetings with documentation, tracking, and status updates
- Coordinate activities of CM staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related parties
- Manage bid-phase services as required by the client
- Perform other duties as required
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Healthcare Sector
- HCAi-1 CA hospital experience, preferably with architectural interiors and exterior envelope background
- Knowledge of project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, and contracts/delivery methods
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project-related systems
- Proficiency with document control systems; new construction and modernization experience preferred
- Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer preferred
- Certified Construction Manager preferred
