Responsibilities- design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution applications
- develop across stacks using YAML, .NET, Go, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, React, or Python
- work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and embedded systems
- implement CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins; use PowerShell and Bash; apply Infrastructure as Code
- administer Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments
- align solutions with current architecture and operating environment while planning for future functionality
- participate in security and compliance considerations appropriate to the role
- contribute to automation to optimize workflows and provisioning processes
- support a skills assessment as part of the hiring process
- maintain awareness of security requirements and clearance considerations
Key requirements- 5+ years designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications
- experience with YAML, .NET, Go, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, React, or Python
- experience with Microsoft Azure (including Azure Government) or AWS
- ability to work with embedded systems software
- CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins); Infrastructure as Code; PowerShell and Bash
- administer Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- Security+ Certification
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
- Agile methodology experience
- ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation
- experience with automated testing tools
- Java, C#, C/C++, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
- Azure and AWS cloud services
- Azure Active Directory (AAD) and security best practices for user access and permissions
