Overview

As Senior Construction Safety Professional, you will serve as the owner's representative on large data center construction sites, leading safety and environmental compliance initiatives. You will collaborate with the client, GC, and trades to instill a culture of safety and ensure regulatory adherence. The role combines field leadership with program development, incident management, and reporting to inform timely decisions. You will be integral to building safe, compliant projects on a global, world-scale infrastructure team.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and enhance the client's EHS culture and ensure site compliance with procedures and regulations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety/health programs to reduce risk
  • Supervise EHS personnel on the project and coordinate with contractors on corrective actions
  • Advise on CEHSP conformance with owner requirements and local laws
  • Provide data and KPI reporting to construction management for informed decisions
  • Represent the client's Construction EHS Team in essential meetings
  • Draft reports to federal, state, local agencies and stakeholders
  • Conduct EHS training and communicate incidents to leadership
  • Ensure waste, stormwater, spill, air permitting, and other environmental programs are followed
  • Lead field audits and verify RAMS/JHAs/ARTs; communicate improvements
  • Foster collaboration with client operations to manage EHS aspects of construction
  • Oversee global EHS programs localization and provide technical leadership
Key requirements
  • BS/BA plus 6 years of experience or equivalent
  • Experience in construction safety or related field
  • Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass MVR review
  • US citizenship required
  • Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders
  • Leadership and mentoring of EHS teams
  • Collaborative and proactive problem-solving
  • NFPA 70E Certification
  • OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training
  • OSHA Authorized Trainer
