Overview In this role you help shape transit environments by providing architectural guidance on planning, design, and coordination for projects like stations and facilities. You will work with project architects and designers to develop materials for delivery and client presentations, translating client needs into solid design solutions. You'll focus on technical design aspects, research, evaluation, and recommending approaches that advance concepts. This is a collaborative, impact-driven position in a respected infrastructure practice.
Responsibilities- Provide professional architectural consulting in planning, design and coordination of project assignments
- Assess design alternatives and support decisions on architectural design problems
- Interpret, organize, and coordinate architectural design assignments with technical responsibility
- Handle specific technical design aspects of projects including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of solutions
- Contribute to development of new or improved design techniques and procedures
- Support broader project tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture and two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Rendering skills with Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion (strong plus)
- Experience on architectural/engineering project teams to prepare design and contract documents
- Ability to produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
- Project experience on medium-sized to large-scale projects
- Strong collaboration, multi-tasking, and clear communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid design process and ability to suggest design alternatives
