Lead Costing Estimator

In this role you will lead the financial planning and analysis for product programs, guiding business cases and cost analyses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quotes, cost studies, and make/buy decisions, while tracking program financial health through launch and initial production. You'll help drive cost reduction initiatives and improve costing processes, adding value across regional teams and management reviews. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at a global automotive supplier with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making.

• Coordinate with functions to develop business cases and quotes
• Assist Sales in quote preparation and run pricing/volume scenarios
• Conduct cost analyses, make vs buy studies, and evaluate cost reduction opportunities
• Participate in program launch team meetings and stay updated on changes
• Report financial status at program reviews with management
• Support plant finance in activity-based cost models and manufacturing costs/rates
• Collaborate with regions on customer, program, and product margin analysis
• Contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements
• Support ad-hoc quick cost analyses as requested
• All other duties as assigned

• Bachelor in Finance / Accounting / Engineering with strong costing knowledge
• 7+ years in Manufacturing / Automotive / Aerospace
• 5+ years in business case cost studies, preferably Automotive
• 7+ years MS Excel experience
