Overview In this role, you drive new Commercial Property & Casualty opportunities and lead client relationships. You collaborate with the team to shape strategy for client goals and remove obstacles to success. You will build a deep understanding of clients' business needs and industry dynamics to deliver tailored solutions. You contribute to growth targets and represent the firm in industry groups. Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of business development and coordinate resources with Practice Leader
- Mentor and collaborate with the team to set client goals and clear obstacles
- Actively participate in industry associations and trade groups
- Initiate new business opportunities and target 10% net growth for the book of business
- Understand clients' business priorities and industry news to identify opportunities
- Develop client ready content (speeches, white papers, blogs) and annual business plans
- Attend sales meetings and document/maintain sales tools
- Negotiate fees and scope of work with clients
- Research clients and prospects to tailor solutions
Key requirements- 5+ years of business development experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Appropriate state licensing required at hire or within 90 days
- Relevant insurance industry experience preferred
