Overview In this role, you lead low voltage construction projects from planning to closeout, ensuring safety, profitability, timeliness, and quality. You'll collaborate with the operations team to align with company standards and regulatory requirements, while engaging with clients and field teams. The position sits at the intersection of project execution, business development, and client relationship management, offering opportunities to shape project outcomes and customer satisfaction. You drive cross-functional coordination and on-site leadership to deliver value.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and staff low voltage systems construction projects for safe, profitable, timely, high-quality completion
- Schedule and manage materials, tools, equipment, and information to meet scope and construction schedules
- Identify and generate new business opportunities, network, and maintain customer relationships
- Oversee multiple projects with on-site supervision of superintendents, field supervisors, crew leads, journeypersons, and helpers
- Review project documents, plans, specifications, and direct construction activities; resolve issues; coordinate field installations and project closings; maintain client relationships within cost, time, and quality standards
- Visit job sites to engage with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors to ensure progress and promote safety
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to meet project cost, time, and quality targets
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management preferred; equivalent studies or experience considered
- 5 years of project management experience in the low voltage systems field preferred; similar experience considered
- Completion of, or initiative to enroll in, an approved electrical apprenticeship program preferred
