Overview As a Project Manager at Stantec, you lead cross-functional teams to deliver energy infrastructure projects on behalf of a global client base. You shape scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating internal staff and external partners from planning through construction. You'll work across geographies within the Energy business to drive risk-managed, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities- Develop and manage scope, budget, and schedule across multiple projects
- Prepare proposals and lead multidisciplinary teams from feasibility through design and construction
- Allocate resources, manage contracts, and monitor cost and schedule performance
- Support proposal pricing, risk reviews, and related marketing for winning bids
- Adhere to risk, quality, and project management policies; promote health, safety, and client service
- Mentor future leaders and foster collaboration across business lines and geographies
- Maintain strong client and regulator relationships and drive project communications
- Travel to project sites and other offices as needed
Key requirements- Experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects with internal teams, subconsultants, and vendors
- Ability to make sound business decisions and solve complex problems
- Track record managing projects from planning to construction in a consulting environment
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-building and collaboration mindset
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, contracts, and resources
- Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, SharePoint, Bluebeam, Deltek, Oracle
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure, environmental, or building design projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Client-focused with emphasis on technical excellence, quality, and safety
- Ability to drive business development and growth initiatives
- Education: Bachelor's degree; PMP and/or PE preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: PMP and/or PE preferred
