Overview As a Resident Engineer, you will serve as the Owner Agent for construction management and inspection across diverse projects, including transportation facilities. You'll supervise field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive quality, safety, and risk programs. You'll engage with clients, prepare proposals, and resolve technical issues to keep projects on time and within scope. This role offers exposure to high-impact infrastructure work and cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven firm.

Responsibilities- Conduct project meetings with clients
- Manage construction field personnel and teaming partners
- Negotiate and approve construction change orders
- Respond to RFIs
- Prepare proposals and presentations
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets
- Prepare and issue reports and correspondence
- Approve quantities for measurement and payment
- Approve construction payment applications
- Resolve technical issues
- Perform constructability reviews and value engineering studies
- Lead risk management assessments
- Prepare and monitor Quality Control and Assurance Plans
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- CCM preferred
- Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
- 10-hour OSHA Safety course preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions
