Overview As a Leasing Consultant at Greystar, you drive occupancy and revenue by executing marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You are the primary contact for prospects, guiding them through tours, applications, and move-in, while coordinating with on-site teams to optimize resident experience. You monitor market conditions and implement strategies to sustain occupancy, leveraging CRM and data to inform decisions. Responsibilities- Perform full sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, including tours, applications, screenings, and move-in package preparation
- Collect and record prospective resident information at move-in
- Collaborate with leadership on market conditions and marketing plans to sustain occupancy and respond to concessions and programs
- Design and execute marketing events and programs to drive traffic and referrals
- Utilize on-site property management software to track availability, leads, and data
- Ensure show units meet quality standards and coordinate maintenance and merchandising
- Follow up with prospects and residents within 24 hours to finalize leases or renewals; document all interactions
- Support lease renewal program: prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely renewal documents
- Respond promptly to resident concerns and coordinate resolutions with appropriate teams
- Provide strong customer service, addressing questions and complaints about maintenance and services
- Attend community/networking events and participate in outreach to drive leads and referrals
- Complete financial, administrative, and other reports as needed
- Assist Lifestyle Coordinator with event setup as required
Key requirements- 1-3 years of sales, marketing, internet, and customer service experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for legal documents and sales
- Mathematical skills for sales conversions
- Ability to generate leads, present, qualify prospects, and close deals
- Specialized: valid state/local licenses/certifications as required
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, property management software, and databases
- Proficiency with internet-based marketing and sales activities
- Ability to adapt messaging to specific markets
