Overview

In this role, you will lead multi-site, large-scale tenant fit-out projects within QTS data centers, partnering with Solutions Engineering, Development, and Operations to define scope, schedule, and budget. You'll manage complex deliveries while ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to minimize operational impact. You will influence scope and decisions by identifying critical items and risks, and you'll apply best practices learned from prior programs to drive on-time, within-budget project success. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multi-site tenant fit-out projects and hyperscale requirements
  • Develop and validate project budget and schedule with construction managers and contractors
  • Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety policies at active sites
  • Identify long-lead and critical-path items to influence scope and decisions
  • Validate client needs during planning and implementation
  • Identify base build infrastructure needs to support future tenant fit outs
  • Work with Procurement and Operations to select vendors and distribution partners
  • Create RFPs and perform bid leveling with focus on labor, materials, and OFCI/CFCI responsibilities
  • Maintain diverse supplier relationships and manage cost variation and lead times
  • Monitor budgets and financial performance; report variances to management and accounting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Maintain knowledge of QTS services, SLAs, and delivery processes
  • Oversee QA with on-site inspections and post-project checks
  • Facilitate clear communication among project team, Sales, Development, and Facilities Operations
  • Apply lessons learned and promote best practices across projects
Key requirements
  • Seven or more years of project management experience in commercial construction, data center operations, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with various contract types, negotiations, and risk handling
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • US Citizenship is required by law for this position
